A quick reminder of the score on Saturday has shut one little mune I know up in very short order.

Fucking filth bastards. I'd cull the fucking lot of them.

Yeah but they make 500 million a year.....

They seem to forget that the most important thing about a football club is what goes on, on the pitch and we have been ahead for 5 years now.

There will be lots of times we can reverse their jibes as there will be empty seats a plenty at ghost Trafford on Thursday nights.

But like the Bournemouth game at the end of last season, the attendance will be 70 odd thousand. They will come in fancy dress as plastic seats

I couldn't enjoy the movement, passing, fluidity, goals, drive, passion, desire and pace because of the empty seats.

Barca had 20,000 empty seats v Celtic but hey that's not news, Claudio Bravo brings the ball down from the sky, sets up the attack and we score. NO MENTION !

I honestly don't get this obsession with the attendance at City's games from other fans. Who gives a f*ck if it's a full house or not. These Utd/Liverpool and Arsenal fans are more concerned about how many are in the ground then actually watching the game itself. City are playing some of the best football that I've ever seen in the PL yet if that was Utd/Liverpool or Arsenal we would never hear the end of it.

The official attendance at the Nou Camp was 73,000 but I heard the commentator saying during the match that there was about 60,000 at it.

This is my take on attendances. If I'm the only one sat in the stands watching Pep Guardiola's team on the pitch, I couldn't give a singular fuck what anyone from another club thinks.

pretty sure that the celtic game will be packed to the rafters and that the only empty seats will be in the away end when we play barca who will only bring about 1,000 or their lame fans with them

I would like the fans that leave early and have done for years to think about it. The fans that stayed gave the players a standing ovation, after the last two games they deserved it. Things have changed at City maybe the 70 mins I'm off brigade should.

Yes, I enjoyed the bit after the game last night. All the squad in the centre circle clapping the crowd etc. The club are doing their best off the pitch for us.

Spuds ST ticket holding lass in the office trundled in this morning....... 'how come you can only get 30K for UCL games?! "We broke the record last night at Wembley with 85K' ......

Soon shut the silly bint up by saying at least 30K witnessed a truly magnificent display of football and a win to boot.

There's no surprising the figures they got, their deal for the 3 UCL games is £85 all in

Of all the issues, regarding fan behaviour, for me this is the one that you can't defend.
Everyone has there own reason for leaving early and it is their perogative to do so. But no matter what way you dress it up, it looks Goddamn awful.

The club are doing everything on and off the pitch to give the fans the best team in the world to watch. Maybe prices could be lower, but that has nothing to do with people leaving early.
The team and the management are moving permanently into the big time. This is the next level of football.
Maybe, and I include myself in this, some fans mentality is going to have to change also or be left behind to a newer generation of fan. That's life.

Booing? I think it is a valid protest and has really made a point. Maybe the club are pushing this statement that Pep made about full houses.
I certainly think the timing of it is wrong after the match the other night, but perhaps it has as much to do with asking for a change in attitude.
That'll grate with a certain sector of hardcore support. But here I go back to my statement above . maybe the club are asking for the fans to evolve or get left behind in this journey.

I've no problem with the booing, but maybe an alternative just as good would be a full house there for the anthem that would drown it out with an appropriate pro-City anthem.

Just a thought, but I find Pep to be a very positive thinking man. He doesn't emphasise the negative. Powers of positive thinking and all that!
Maybe booing although a valid protest is too negative for the current City mindset. Pro-City chanting would be a positive reinforcement that might be more in keeping with the current team journey.

Cue the nay-sayers.
