Delighted with that. Won well while not at the very best.
A few things, Bravo? Mmmm not 100% convinced yet.
Nolito what the fuck was he at.
Sterling excellent again.
Kevin, what can be said he is pure wonderful.

Bravo did several other great things if you ask me both defensively and with the ball.

He made one errant pass late, and with keeping, one play he botched a bit. However, he made a very good punch earlier, and was toying with the Bournemouth defenders with the passing triangles.

His abilities with the ball are allowing us to have better opportunities to score. I'd suggest listening to the recent CityWatch "442" Podcast this past week on our tactics and the value of Bravo. You will have a hard time not changing your mind if you listen to it. The so-called mistakes he may make are far outweighed by the positives of his composure and overall ability with the ball compared to someone like Hart that it's almost not worth discussing, really.

It's a delight to watch our side play under Pep. Another perfect performance and a clean sheet as the the cherry on the icing. Happy days !

I think it's fair to say we won't get into Europa with fair play.

The major downside of today's game is that my nose is sunburnt. An unexpected occurrence in Beswick.

Just back and proper enjoyed that. The positives:
Sterling was fucking class....again.
Atmosphere was great, it was bouncing at times.
KDB
Kolarov gave a world class performance as a CB
Negatives:
None really but there was a bit too much dangerous passing the ball around by the defence and goalie in the last 10.

We are classy, classy, classy.

Why was the atmosphere so good? Is it the Pep effect? Even commented on radio how good it was!!

Fans certainly are loving it but its surely impossible not to. Just before we scored I was thinking this could be a close game. It's all about that first goal and clever Kev just unlocked the door and it was game over. Bournemouth came with great determination I thought and a bit of a plan to use deep balls behind Sagna. It worked to a point as well as the Otter isn't blessed with pace so King did nearly get in a couple of times.Fairplay to the Otter though as he got back to dispossess him and the last moment.

The final 3 goals were then just wonderful. It could have been more but sensible changes were made and it killed the game a bit and then the red card just flattened it completely. A bit unlucky but Nolito was silly.

I loved the bit early in the 2nd half when Harry Arter tried closing City down and the ball was passed between Bravo, Otter and I think Sagna for fun. He chased them all , ran a few circles and just had to give up.

I don't know why it was so good.....it wasn't a "big" team and the game was always in our control but it reminded me of the Chelsea game when SS3 opened. Maybe there was an extra effort after the unfair media reaction to our 30k crowd on Wednesday

I was not a lone sufferer in East Stand Level 2, a woman in front of me fainted with heatstroke, not an issue for the South or CB stands I think.
