I don't remember him diving in and giving away penalties.

Very pedestrian, still comfortably 2-0 up. I'll take that any day of the week.

I reckon you're right. And with Silva, Sane, Navas, etc. to throw on if we struggle. It's looking good.

Very good first half but could have been a bit better, sure. Bournemouth look a bit dangerous on their left hand side when the counter so we need to be careful.

Otter's being outpaced, but handling it quite cleverly.

Would take the 2-0 right now if offered. Been a bit lacklustre for me. Churlish, I know, but we can play so much better. Just wish Sterling would lace the ball rather than pass it though sometimes.

Good first half for the pep'ers. It could have been more spicy, but two nil is a flavour I like.

Indeed. His last ditch tackling has been superb.

He has gotten away with one or two of his sliding tackles.

NBC halftime pundits comment on footage they show of Bournemouth jumping during a free kick from Palace a few weeks ago where they jump, and make the connection to Pep's pointing to the bench and KDB's low shot to the left as something the coaching staff identified as a weakness during their defence on set pieces.

We really do have a fantastic coaching staff.

I don't see it as "got away with". He steered his opponent all the way to the line, and when he couldn't do anything but cut inside, the Otter put in a well timed tackle. Simply good defending considering him being so much slower.
