Celtics team looked like they were up for a Derby match. That seemed to take our players by surprise and we were second best in terms of commitment which will disappoint Pep. We lacked aggression and composure.

I'm sure other teams will have taken note of Celtics performance. Except from an average United side we've played no one this season. So far it's all been sides happy to let us play.

A big improvement will be needed come Sunday.

I agree with the last statement having just watched a replay of tonight.

However I also find this post annoying as fuck.

Don't be such a Scottish homer dude. Be realistic. They are shit and we fucked up. Nothing else.

Cheers

Ross is speaking sense here mate, Celtic have lost just 3 of 25 home games in CL group stage now, they are always capable of pulling off incredible results at home if the opposition isn't at it from the get go.

Even with an early goal that was miles offside and a hopefull cross that got wickedly deflected into the net ........
There fans make a noise though heyho ! Celtic will finish bottom of the group where they belong overhyped pile of shite but they do make a noise you know !

Very much, miles.

Celtic had the perfect build up to this games, winning 6-1 at weekend allowed them to really go at it from the start. Then, having to play Dundee at weekend, who havent won a game yet, makes the thought of giving 100% even easier.

Let's not be crude, Celtic played well and their 100% output scuppered our plans for the game. We could've been better, yes, but a lot of that was down to what Celtic were doing. That raised the crowd even more which will have had an affect in both teams.

And let's not underestimate the importance of the national rivalries and their perceived notion that we are lower tier historical challengers in the CL.

Lots of considerations last night and the biggest thing to take away was our tenacity to fight back and finish looking like the team who could win.
In the words of my Old Man, "Life will never be the same without Man City, so get it in while you can".

Deafening silence in the media about that first Celtic goal.

Telegraph gave the Celtic team the equivalent of 1 point higher ranking man-for-man.

Was it really a handball for their free kick leading upto the first offside goal ?

Felt like two points dropped against poor opposition. But... We didn't capitulate and Celtic rarely get turned over by English oppo at home. Ultimately it's not a great result for them. They need to win their home games.
Can't stand their fans, which was reinforced by having several of them in our hotel bar late on. Horrible bunch with a whiff of rag about them.
City and sniffing knickers.
Come on Blues.

"If Celtic were in England, they would be in the top four/top six clubs there," said Rodgers.

This is why we needed to win last night. This cunt will go on and on now.

I am amazed that the media is still near his delusional speech after the Barcelona game. He reminds me of a some old romanian coach in the 90s, he said after a 6-1 defeat: we could have won if they didn't score 6 goals today.

I hope we smash them.

Like that knob shearer last season banging on about how lucky we were to beat Newcastle at ours last year. Those flukey goals in that jammy 6-1 win.

If you call your team Celtic, not being English is just about the whole point really. Outstanding.

Celtic played to their absolute maximum got gifted all 3 goals one curtesy of a slow fuckin linesman not keeping up with play and City were very poor first half. In the end it could and possibly should have finished 6-3 to City. Oh and btw they had what I thought was a seasons luck in 1 game imo they will not win another game.
