Cheers CM. I for one fear tomorrow. Their pressing game and the fact they are are decent at home fills me with dread. Take a draw right now

You and me both, NB.

Wish we had KDB.

However, thanks CM. As always, it's much appreciated.

Christ on a bike, they don't half have a high opinion of themselves.

Finished higher than us in the league last year to be fair. And they are at home. Every reason to be optimistic.

There is optimism and then there is delusion.

Ive a sneaky feeling that their overconfidence might just nibble them on the buttocks

Thanks again CM. not surprised they're confident and like a few of them said it should be a good game.

Btw I did find this stat rather interesting: "average league position of teams they’ve played already is 15th"

The average position of the teams Spurs have played is 12th.

They do have reason to be optimistic but finishing above us wasn't that hard to be fair, they've a good side and it's going to be tough to get points off them there but they are getting very cocky. They only finished on 70 points last season, that is only enough to give you a chance of getting fourth place in any normal season, they're not as good as they think.

Really looking forward to this. Nervous but quietly confident.

Love how conceding an offside goal, a lucky deflection and an individual defensive cock-up against Celtic shows them that our defence is shite.
Wouldn't be disappointed to take a draw now before the game.

Of course, one of the reasons for that is we keep beating the oppo, it won't help their league position or confidence! You could say the rason other teams are higher is because they've not played us or Spuds yet !

Yeah true as well. And not that the number actually means anything. But at the same time it can be said we have mostly played some teams that are in very poor form like hammers or even stoke or just poor sides like Sunderland. Which just makes tomorrow even more interesting as we will have another big test

No more talk of accepting draws. Pep won't be talking about a draw, he will be talking about WINNING.

yeah. a draw wouldn't be the end of the world but we really should go for the throat. 1-3 City!

We're a right pair of pessimistic so-and-so's NB. Wish we'd been proved to be absurdly wrong today and everyone on the forum was laughing at us right now, for our abject misguidedness.

However, we've got two successive home games after the International break, albeit against Everton and Southampton, hopefully to put things right and re-discover our fire. Then, there's a visit to Pulisland and his merry men to overcome, which won't be easy.

All in all, three must win games which might go a long way to defining our season.
