Manchester City will be expecting to bounce back after their 100% winning start to the league season was ended by a 2-0 defeat at Tottenham.

The Toffees became City's bogey team when David Moyes was in charge but it has been a different story recently and Everton have not won any of their last six league meetings.

I do not think that will change on Saturday, but I do think it might be a frustrating afternoon for City.

They will be desperate to give a good reaction after that Spurs game but they have had players scattered around the globe over the past week or so, and may not be at their best.

It is the same for Everton of course but, if both teams are below par, I would still expect the Toffees to leave with a point.

Lawro's prediction: 1-1

Ed's prediction: Man City started brilliantly. They had a hiccup last week but will be too strong for Everton. 3-1

Everton have gone off the boil a little bit recently and I don't see how they can match Tottenham's tempo when they beat Man City.

They need to press high and make sure Claudio Bravo can't pass it out. You let him kick it long because they have Raheem Sterling, Sergio Aguero and David Silva, and none of them are over 5ft 8in.

Teams are catching on to this because it forces City to take even more chances at the back, which gives you opportunities. But can Everton play that way for 90 minutes? I don't think so.

City always have a go and Everton will create chances, so it should be high scoring.

I agree with the crackheadabout Everton not being capable of applying the press for 90 minutes, I'll be surprised if Lukaku can do it for more than twenty.

I think a lot of us are feeling a tad apprehensive about today, we'd got used to winning ways but the way the last two games have gone, there's questions over if pep will be stubborn or if he has a plan b..

Pep will start as we did against spuds imo, KDB will be on bench and only come in if we need him.

On another note, I read yesterday that barca have returned 2k of their 2.5k allocation!!
