Anyone that even murmurs replacing Aguero is off their fuckign rocker.

Consistent high scoring attacker for the last umpteen years.

Shocking.
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

i get that it's an unpopular opinion to suggest we should sell aguero. just like it was sacrilege to talk about selling yaya after he had just scored 20 for us...

Not quite.

Aguero is the most lethal striker to ever play in the premier league.
And is arguably the best striker in world football.

Bit different...

Just give Aguero the ball in the right areas and he will score goals , his premier league record reflects that . You even build your team around the cunt its that fucking simple , its the other fucking end where we are a shambles ......keeper , right back and left back and no fucking leader on the pitch !!!
Not really here

Yaya was 31 years old. Aguero is 28.

Yaya was 31 years old. Aguero is 28.

If anything that makes him more saleable as the buying club get peak years from him rather than the end of his career.

No one on here is doubting Aguero's ability or what he's done for the club. But the fact is he wasn't chosen last night and there could be a fair few reasons for it. He does t put a shift in anymore and Pep's noticed. He isn't a Pep player. He is injured constantly.

There's absolutely nothing wrong in what's been said in this thread.

It could be any of them reasons or more likely it could be what Pep said it was.

Pep said earlier in the season that Kolarov was the best defender in the world. I wouldn't trust what comes out of his mouth.

Haha. Brilliant!

Jimmy Greaves probably the most gifted English goal scorer ever.

Was 1966 about Jimmy's goals. Was Alf proved right?

Agureo is in the same boat as Jimmy if he does not adapt.

You could have a counter argument that England didn't build on their success of 1966 and that may be due in part to Greaves, who having missed out, took to the bottle and wasn't the same player again. The replacement, Hurst, who won the final for England, had a solid if unspectacular England career thereafter. Thus, though we won in 1966 without Greaves, what would we have won if he would've played in 1966 and his career had not nosedived after missing out. We shall never know of course.

Alf was proved right once. He may have been proved wrong as a result in future years

Our squad is nowhere near as strong as it was 2-3 years ago. I don't think it's time to lose our best and only established striker yet. It's a strange thread this.

It is all about team, not Kun's goals.
Messi's is team first then the goals follow.
Look how Suarez has adapted.

Kun has got his warning.
Shape up or ship out.

Much as I love Kun, I fear this is spot on.

I think people who think Kun is above criticism and irreplaceable are missing the point.
I love the guy and the truth is we don't have anyone better. Neither does anyone else in the league. He's class.
But nobody in this team is irreplaceable. It's Pep 's way or the highway. Look at Yaya, Hart, Nasri etc.
You buy in to what's happening or forget it and move on. That's what we're getting with Pep. We've wanted this for so long, now we either let him get on with it and shut up or we get the Pep Out banners painted.
Personally I think and hope he will mentor Aguero into an adaptation of his game that will have him firing on all cylinders and make an even better player out of him.

The dichotomy for me is that I found the performance the other night totally amateurish and naive and yet fully understand those that formed the viewpoint that we were well in that game and ultimately lost it on one moment of madness from a guy who otherwise was doing quite well.
That's how close the margins are at this level. You don't get away with any amateur performances with Barca.

I think what we are trying to achieve is achievable with this manager but unfortunately some of the current squad will be casualties. Some of them may be our favourites. To bring it in context,I felt the same way abut Dunnie not being around to win a cup.
