Think I'll join you; should make good reading.

In the end though, this game was a bit of a let-down at the end. The Scum were there for the taking and Chelsea should have scored a few more goals, if only to improve their goal difference.

The Scum got off lightly at the death.

Just been on Redcafe; lovely reading altogether.

In one thread though, about Mourinho, there was a quite perceptive point made by one poster.

Some of them were defending him and saying he just needs time, like Pep and Conte need time with their new teams and new players. However, one character made a very telling response to this, saying that Mourinho had had six months of last season, when he left Chelsea, with which to watch the Scum and assess the players that were there, as it was more than likely at that stage he would be getting Van Ghoul's job in the summer.

If the media were to pick up on this thought and do their jobs without fear or favour from their Scum loving, Sky 4 bosses, Mourinho would be under even more pressure than he almost certainly is at the moment.

Just a separate thought; is Shrek currently injured because, today, he wasn't even on the bench ??

Would of been able to enjoy it more if we won. Cant get any pleasure in it when we slip up too.

The only thing that's injured is his pride

All in all, not such a bad weekend then.

Leading group of 5, followed by Everton and then a whole bunch of 5 or 6 teams snapping at the scum's heels.

Yes we dropped 2 points, but they got smashed. If they had won 4-0 we would never hear the end of it. So it's not too bad.

Really? I get lots of pleasure, regardless.

They're 5 points off Europa at the moment, what's not to like.

Looks like the papers are not going to go easy on Jose with headlines like 'The humiliated one'.
Great.
Lose to us on Wednesday and the pressure multiplies.
Great.
He needs to make that team more dynamic and flexible. That means dropping Zlatan and the elbow.
Great.
That would leave Zlatan and Rooney with the hump.
Fantastic.

Pity they have some easy PL fixtures coming up.

There seems to be a bit of a story developing around what Mourinho said to Conte, at the end of the game.

Has anyone any further details ??

As others keep reminding City fans, there are no easy games in the PL.

Rather than start a new thread for other games tonight, I'll use this one

Chelsea losing 2-0 at the start of the second half and Conte has stuck to his back three approach, playing Cahill, Terry and Luiz there.

They really should put Terry out to grass now.

Is he still their club captain, or something ridiculous like that ??

Is the priority the Milk Cup? Bit like us I'd say, bigger fish to fry.

Chelsea will be eyeing CL football, nothing more. Rags were looking at the more immediate thing and chose a full team.

Basics really.
