Post match thoughts.

Mine is quite simple , why the fuck didn't we play with any urgency in the first half and why didn't Pep change tactics mid way through . i.e Sterling on the right ?

His set up was wank , 3 at the back didn't work and rarely does in the prem and Kompany follows on with poor passing over 10 yards, he was poor.
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

Can't blame komps but pep should have sorted earlier. Could see it coming with the little success we were getting.

He fucked up today. Same as midweek.

Playing 3 in the back in Englad will be suicidal, at the moment, when you have many calamities in the squad. Today was a good that to give a chance to Maffeo, instead he decided to play 2 right wingers in the last 10 minutes.

Teams have figured us out at the moment.

That was easily the worst game Kun has played for us whilst fit.

I'd have loved to have seen Sterling be a wee bit more greedy. He was cutting holes through them.

Good game from Bravo.

Poor.

Too slow. Not enough intensity. Players played out of position. Not enough width employed. Dont want to shoot when in the box

Having said all that we didnt lose. Our heads didnt drop after going behind in the manner we did. We were much better second half. And we are back on top of the league. Together with Spurs and Arsenal drawing we haven't lost ground

Any PL team with a bit of quality should be brimming with confidence when they face us.

With a couple rare exceptions (Southampton at home last season, Rags away in September), we just don't win against decent English oppo anymore. That's been true for the better part of 18 months. The squad just seems unwilling or unable to deal with the intensity of PL football.

Teams know that we will fuck up at some point and so they sit tight until we do.

The mistakes in each game are embarrassing. We're shooting ourselves in the foot and throwing games away.

That tells the story, no?

I have no idea if he is as good as Nacho, saw him only in friendlies and cameos, but if you don't give him a chance when you need a RB, then why is the point of having him here?

The 3-5-2 system did not work a bit last summer, I have no idea why he was convinced I would have now. We were lucky, it could had been a defeat today. I am not impressed by the second half, I am impressed of Ian who is one of the most good poachers I saw lately in the game. He should change his name into Inzaghi.

Sterling made a huge difference on the right. He has to start there from now on.

Gundogen has to shape up. He gave the ball away constantly although did improve with the rest of the side 2nd half.

Another individual error. I'm hoping we got our season's worth in one week.

I'll stay positive though - top of the league while not in top gear and obviously we're at the beginning of a new era.

I don't believe for one second that our fans are protesting against the team by not going to matches...

I'm interested as to why you think this Nigels tackle??

Oh, and Southampton were in Italy on Thursday night. Inexcusable that we couldn't match their intensity in the first half.

Very poor performance and Pepe has more to learn about the EPL. 3 Centre Halves has never worked.

There was no intensity in the first half. We just pressed the self destruct button... Again.

Tell us more about your theory that our fans have stopped going to matches because of how we play.

It's pretty clear you have been against this manager and the spanish directors from the get go.

It's just a bit baffling as to why?
