Anyone going to the Palace game?

Postby Justified logic » Fri Oct 28, 2016 2:28 pm

I've got tickets for a mate and myself for the 19th November. Probably go via Thornton Heath station prior to the game if anyone is up for a few shandies.

I haven't been to an away game since we signed Adebayor and Tevez and had Blackburn away for the first away game of the season. I do miss it.

Enjoy mate!

Palace and Southampton are the nearest to me and both, whilst quite different environments and grounds, are good days out.

They're much better atmosphere wise and I usually enjoy them more than the home games. Probably cos I'm more pissed when we go away

Yeh I treated away games as an 'all dayer' so would be smashed nine times out of ten. Loads more enjoyable with everyone standing and singing as well.

I heard there's quite a few kids that go to away games now that think they're Danny Dyer?

Yeh mate there were some right knobs at the swamp last Wednesday as the pictures of the smashed up toilets show. One young lad sat behind me so wasted he didn't have a clue what he was watching. Kept slagging off Garcia and asked why he was playing as a defensive midfielder and was shouting for Kolarov not to shoot when we had a freekick outside their box on the right hand side - as if there was any other option.

I heard that a few of these turds started to go to EDS games last season purely to kick off with people in numbers. Little bastards!
