This Week's Other Games - 26-30 Nov 16

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

This Week's Other Games - 26-30 Nov 16

Deserves its own thread. 3 of our direct competitors play today and although I feel the Dippers will match us there's going to be a game at Standard Bridge.

They've won their last two games and Defoe is in good form - so they just need to hold off from shitting the bed too early.

But with davie moyse it's hard to see them put up much of a fight. He's already declared that they're in a relegation battle ffs

They've set-up to defend in numbers and then hit on the break with limited numbers. They look slow so I don't hold much hope. But I can pray.

Gollum usually has them at a decent level of fitness and it shows how bringing him in late has affected them.

Really want him to do well, but Denayer looks a bit lost so far in midfield

I believe it is him who makes the pass in the beginning as well. He's brilliant when he's in the mood.

Would have been a great foil for Sergio if he kept his form for more than 1/2 a season

Courtino's ankle looks broke on the pictures I have seen. Huge blow for Liverpool if true.

That was very poor from the ref. How can you be penalised for holding the ball when it comes to you?

Didn't look good at the time, not wanting to see it since. He fpdidbt need any air though so maybe not too bad for him.

Conte looks like John Travolta's scheming evil brother

... and wow, the Swansea - Palace game was the one to watch. Palace came back from 3-1 down, to 3-4 ahead, to lose 5-4. And Pardue is blaming the club for not attracting enough good talent (when he has Benteke, Townsend, Zaha, Cabaye... etc). What a fraud

And another brilliant finish by Negredo:

Reminds me of the ball Yaya played him through for the 1st time finish
