By getting a new contract it means we either see him as part of the future or part of the balance sheet. Either way, good for us.

Tis a bit worrying that he hasn't featured much and he wasn't very special last season for the games he played for City. Tidy player he is but I wasn't seeing anything that shouted a first team future at City.
