Err.... he is the best goalkeeper in the world so of course. I seriously doubt he would EVER leave Bayern or especially Germany. He has lot of community work going on there and has been on record that it isn't about the money for him.

I am not going to crucify Bravo. I think he is very limited, but a strong leader. Maybe if he would had come here earlier, maybe he could had the time to become what we needed. In april he is going to be 34. What is next? Who is next?
What we have:
Bravo - 33 years old, I don't see him here next year, to be fair.
Willy - 35 years old. Almost every time he stepped up when we needed him. I wonder if he will still play or will want to call it a day.
Joe Hart - 29 years old. Impossible to work under Guardiola, but better than those above him.
Rulli - 24 years old. Regular for Sociedad, but not proven at a big club. Looks life our choice soon, but stranger type of transfer.
Gunn - 20 years old. Good prospect, but needs a loan out where he can play.
Not a good situation from my point of view. Going with Claudiu for the whole 3 years would be suicidal.

Except I've watched Sociedad this year for obvious reasons and Rulli seems shaky. He is already 24 so I'm not convinced.
No, we need to get someone world class between the sticks in summer.

That's a sound idea... starting one right now.

Pity about his old man but there you go.

Good with his feet?

Good with his feet?
Well good for kicking enormous distances, most goal pre-assists for Leicester last term.

What was the frog's? Always bearing in mind that much statistical data in football is meaningless pseudo scientific babble. Goalkeeper passing accuracy rates for example fail to take into account of key variables such as whether they are rollers or launchers or a combination of both depending on team tactics.
72%
Thing is any keeper is capable of booting the ball high to the final third, it's up to his team mates what they do with it. Any keeper could do what Schmeichel does.
Oh and btw, you might want to let the club know that they can do away with their team of statistical analysts seeing as it's just pseudo scientific babble.
Niall Quinns Discopants wrote:Goalkeepers passing accuracy mean very little. Some managers prefer their keepers to always boot it long leading into poor numbers and some strictly instruct them to always pass short.

Kaspar's pass accuracy this season is currently 52% but crude counting of ball booting is of little value as is much (you will note I said 'much') statto babble. The club contingent of video-analysers no doubt have their uses but, if any had a significant input into the selection of some of the recent duff signings, those individuals definitely need to be sacked. The important sports scientific data comes from biometrics along with careful tactical and player analysis etc - not media fodder from the likes of Squawka and OPTA. The evidence gathered by watching Kasper over many seasons with my own eyes has convinced me has an excellent all round game which I'm confident would improve in terms of his distribution under Pep. You can keep your greedy, back-stabbing frog, he's well suited to where he is.
