If Pep was to change tack so to speak and go 442 what formation would be our best at present.
Would it be let's say
Willy
Zabs Otter,Stones,Clichy
Sterling,Gundo,Silva,KDB
Yaya

4-4-2 is never going to happen under Pep . Yaya will be on his way in January , Ottamendi and Clichy are utter garbage !

I'd much prefer him to play that formation and that team looks good for Watford. I would probably swap KDB and Silva round. I'd also consider playing Tosser instead of Stones who seems to have no sense of responsibility.

No need for a bench mate. If Kolarov gets injured we'll just play with 10 Kolarov's.

That doesn't look great but it's actually the team that beat the Rags at the swamp with Fern 2 in for Fern 1 due to suspension. Maybe we should try this against Watford. No Gundo or Sane

That might just be our best set up at moment mate.
I'd be more inclined to play something like that with those guys available. Silva and KDB central, Fern 2 playing to his strengths (defensive reading of the game and able to challenge in the air), Nolito with his infectious enthusiasm. We'd have some counter attacking threat too.

I did ponder that but I think three novice defenders with Stones as the senior guy is asking for trouble. If we went with Sagna as RB then yes, Angelino in for Kolarov
