Well, my first guess was he might sign a contract with them and leave free. If we want to get rid, at least get some money for him.
Worst case scenario.

Poch seems to rate Tripper more now so I could see the Walker one coming off. gonna be a big fee though.
Fee would be because of Levy and being English
yup. Levy, English, and direct rival.

He started for Pep last season in the CL Semis, I believe.
Would be another young, talented player to fight with Sane, Sterling and Jesus, but my guess is this would be if we flop on our other bigger targets for that position for the price we are hearing (£40-50m).
He's played less, and half of the time off the bench this season so seems like an odd one to me to spend so much on. He also is not the best finisher and we need someone who can score.
I will lose all faith in our Spanish transfer committee if we end up spending anywhere near the reported figures for this utterly one-dimensional speed merchant.
but you still have faith in them after acquiring Sterling and Navas, our one-dimesional speed merchants?

Correct.*
I like to think that faith works just like baseball. Three strikes and you're out. God striked out a long time ago. Now Txiki's destiny hangs on a french kid's rattail. Will he or won't he? Find out. This summer!**

Nothing wrong with that chum.
I always feel the correct term which should be applied to it is 'rounders'.

As this topic is titled 'transfer rumours', I didn't want to start a Mido-related one. Hence, baseball.

Do you mean 'strook' perhaps? Anyway, I expect the Almighty noticed you had struck Him off and was suitably stricken.

United have £72m bid for Mbappe rejected.
Monaco saying nothing less than £100m and hope for £125m next summer (and Mbappe wants Real Madrid).

Does this qualify as a 'snub' for the Scum ??
Mind you, bearing in mind what they paid for Pogba's silky skills, £72 million seems absolutely miserly by comparison.

I like the look of him but £100m for an 18 year old who hasn't yet played 50 games? No chance.

He's had a good season but is he a Vardy? Sorry I mean't one season wonder. It's a very expensive gamble to find out (if anyone is stupid enough to pay that much).

very interesting that Mbappe's price tag has soared recently yet Kasper Dolberg is doing the same thing for Ajax and no one seems to care. sure Dutch league is worse than the French league but it can't be by that much.
Mbappe: 18yo, 18 goals.
Dolberg: 19yo, 20 goals.
could easily get Dolberg from Ajax for less than £30M

Espn.com saying Diego Costa has signed for a Chinese club for €90M and will leave this summer. Great deal for Chelsea if true

Russian money laundering by one of Putin's 'exiled' Oligarchs.

If Kele hi is being allowed to go, even on loan, we must be in the market for a striker. We can't go a whole season with just Sergio and Jesus.

Dortmund are sniffing around Enes Unal. Might not be a bad place for him to go on loan. Bundesliga is definitely better than the Dutch league. Although if Aubameyang stays they do have that young Swede Isak as his backup.
