If so, I'd much rather it be a double announcement JC, omitting Walker from the proceedings............

concur. other than pace and englishness, i cannot see what the F he offers us. and and we will get bent over on the fee by those spud wa*nkers

I agree, I have devoted many posts to the shortcomings of Kylie and earnestly hope we can sign young Hector (who is also homegrown) or Henrichs or even Soares.

This is all you see in Walker's game?

He is very good with long diagonal balls, can pass pretty well, and dribble.

I remember when him and Micah were competing for England's RB. Makes me sad now because Walker is a slightly worse version of what Micah should have been if he didn't get those knee injuries

Honestly, I see it exactly as Sideshow Bob. His passing and dribbling are distinctly average. He's better than we have, but I'm not a fan.

It is sad. At one point Micah was the clear no 1, then it all just went to shite.
Huge disappointment.

Crikey JC, I would love taking a possible risk on Mbappe but Neymar is a different kettle of fish altogether. Phew; that really is an earth shattering, mouth watering proposition .........and he might even cost more than Pogba !!??

Can we realistically afford him, given the ever lurking presence and possible renaissance of FFP ?? On the other hand, would it be typical of us to be going for both ??

I don't think I'll be feeling like sleeping tonight now.

The Portuguese press are full of stories that we will sign Ederson Moraes from Benfica after the Portuguese Cup Final this weekend. The only delay might be third party ownership issues. He is 23 a ball playing goalkeeper and very highly rated. Claudio would have his work cut out staying number one if Ederson arrives.

Freshie, I'm not trying to start a row, and what you say is true, but that comment came over very raggish.

Looks like Enes Unal to Villarreal with a buy back option for two years.

Makes sense. He can't get a work permit at the moment and needs to prove himself in a tougher league.

Yes staying number one I should have said. MEN suggesting we still want Sanchez. Kelechi might be off to West Ham with a buy back clause but even so Sanchez seems an embarrassment of riches.

BM resident ITK just posted Mendy & Moraes as done deals.

Not surprising but I'm hoping for a surprise that Walker isn't done, despite his other predictions.
