it would be remiss not to include this contribution, even if Pep and the media speculators have failed to notice them yet.

You are speculating on the Internet. You're a media speculator. A strange one at that.

We have been linked to the Hernandez brothers, apparently we bid for them

our resident realist is clearly better acquainted with iberian sources than the likes of me, which isn't difficult to be fair.

From Monaco, Benjamin Mendy is also a left back who we have been rumoured in for, as well as Bernardo Silva for midfield.
Oh, and Jordan Pickford for keeper.

Well, a bit more speculation perhaps.Unless there are some late surprises 6 are out of contract - Yaya, Clichy, Zabba, Willy, Navas and Sagna and I can't see our 4 principal loanees coming back. So my prediction is it's adios to them and our other Argies too, including Sergio sadly. Vinny looks to be out of the picture next season as well along with Bravo and possibly other current first team squad members. So 8 new faces could be a conservative estimate. It would be unusual for such a big influx but Watford managed to recruit double that number a couple of years back.
