I can't see villa being daft enough to sign Delph. He started less than 100 league games for them in 6 years. His injury nightmare started years before he joined us.

It would most likely be a loan with us still picking up his wages with no obligation to buy. Pointless deal for us. May as well keep him. The rags and spuds seem to manage to sell their unwanted players without loaning out too many, why can't we?

Why would we do this anyway? I'm sure we could get more for him, and better to just keep him for now. We need England trained players for the registration rules.
Why would Delph want to go from a Champions League side to a Championship side?
Mind bogglingly ludicrous rumour. Their fans also hate him now, don't they? If he does not deliver he will not be received well.

Maybe Delph just wants to play football. Fans are fickle creatures, if he scored v Brum in the Derby all would be forgiven

He has played for us when he has been fit and done well by and large. I'd like to see him alongside F1 or instead of him when he needs a break. I like him and think he fit the style of play very well in the first few matches of the season. He certainly had the right attitude.
Your right leg I like; I've got nothing against your right leg. The trouble is neither have you.

If and its a definitely an 'if' Delph can stay fit I think he could make quite a contribution to the team, agree he has done well for us when he's played.

Hes Kompany's twin mate - he will never ever ever stay fit as long as hes got a hole in his arse.
He was signed purely to make the numbers up.

I'd give Delph a run at left back.

I'm not sure what his injuries have been mate. Maybe he gets injured often because he doesn't play a lot? I don't know, how many games did he play the season before we bought him?

An episode of Coronation Street seems to go on for eternity.

was it Pep or Pellegrini that played Delph at a sort of false left back position?

Pep had Delph, as well as Fernando and I think Fernandinho training as defenders during preseason. There are articles you can find referencing this.

Injury record:
http://www.physioroom.com/news/english_ ... njury.htmlDoesn't say how long he's out for each time but he is a player who seems to be out for a long time when injured. Needs a word in his ear from Klopp?(!)
Games per season history:
http://uk.soccerway.com/players/fabian-delph/53097/Contains injury start and end dates but an incomplete list.

Big new transfer rumour from Jutarnji List the main Croatian newspaper. Says we're just about to buy Ivan Rakitic from Barca and that he's been left out of the squad for tonight's match. He's a midfielder aged 28. I suppose would be a replacement for Gundogan. Not sure I believe it yet but he's a very good player.

The Sun are reporting he is joining the Rags. I hope we are in for him, he's been excellent every time I've seen him

Still have to wobble my head to think that we are in the market for Barca's first team players.

Rafa Hernandez who's close to Barca says Rakitic will likely leave in Summer rather than now. Agent listening to offers. Nothing concrete yet.
