For me Slim, it would have to be Sterling - Jesus - Sane.

In the short time they were all together this season, they had loads of skill, flair and high potential.

Me too, Sterling and Jesus struck up an instant partnership, and those three all play very similarly. Plus they could be playing together for a decade.

Sanchez Jesus Sane
Aguero

I know that's 4 but what the feck. Sterling has been good this season and can be back up but will need to learn how to strike a ball properly and retain possession better to get back in. Two holding midfielders behind them.

This for me aswell with Sterling as back up , can easily rotate all 5 with sheer number of games plus injuries and Sky / PIGMOL orientated suspensions .

Obviously we won't have a fixed first 11 and will mix formations but we could possibly go 3-4-3 with Sane and Sterling the wingers with a front three picked from Aguero Sanchez Mbappe and Jesus.

Think it was against Chelsea that sterling and sane played wing backs and really impressed.

If you include the number 10, you'd have to add KDB and Silva to the list and then it gets really confusing.

Stop Press - Isco's extended his contract, we've pulled out of the Mbappe bidding, the Arsenal targets are not happy to leave for any team that they can beat, Bonucci wants Barca, Bernardo Silva & Mendy are off to the swamp, Fabinho fancies China, Carvalho set for Juve, Van Dyck to join the Chavs and Bravo is happy and settled in Manchester.....etc etc

I await the inevitable response that we didn't want any of them anyway - quite right - anyone can win trophies if they buy the best players, who needs them when we've got Pep!

Did Fern sign a new contract?

Turkish media is saying he is going to Fenerbahce. Contract agreed and stuff. The Ozil part seems bollock, but with Fern I am worried.

Fee would be because of Levy and being English.

He also would provide what Pep wants from his fullbacks/wingbacks.

Good with the ball, pace, strength, can pass the ball well short and likes to play diagonal long balls.

Coman is another rumour gaining steam despite his option being triggered by Bayern.

He started for Pep last season in the CL Semis, I believe.

Would be another young, talented player to fight with Sane, Sterling and Jesus, but my guess is this would be if we flop on our other bigger targets for that position for the price we are hearing (£40-50m).

He's played less, and half of the time off the bench this season so seems like an odd one to me to spend so much on. He also is not the best finisher and we need someone who can score.

I will lose all faith in our Spanish transfer committee if we end up spending anywhere near the reported figures for this utterly one-dimensional speed merchant.
