Hopefully. Perez really is as thick as shit. They are about the only club dumb enough and that can afford his obscene wages.
Would be our best deal of the summer if true.

I think we're flogging him in next transfer window and going big on a striker
If we get £100m for Sterling that would be fantastic business.

Is the timing a bit suspect? Just as we are preparing for our most important match of the season.

The only stumbling block is in the first sentence which mentions his agent?
I swear that only a couple of weeks back somebody on here reported that like KDB, Sterling had binned off his agent was negotiating directly with us.
I could be wrong though?

Timing's always suspect.
I'm just surprised that they haven't come out with KDB to Real, Mahrez to PSG, and Foden falling out with Pep stories.
They've still got a day.

The Fail reported last July that the pl have been investigating us for 2 years re ffp. Its suddenly appeared again this week.
Balotelli......that's a brilliant finish.

Last night's result must give us a better chance of getting players we want.
If I was a top player now who wanted to win trophies I would pick English clubs in this order:
1. Us or Chelsea. 3.(A long way behind) Rags. 4. (They have no money to build squad depth) ) Dippers. 5. ( If I was desperate) Spurs or Arsenal.

We would have to be the obvious choice for any player wanting to come to Premier, excepting Chelski, all the others are broke and up shit creek so much so even their own fans are at war with owners.
None even come close on facilities and resources, they would be more assured of winning some sort of silverware each season.

Whoever comes , they won’t be coming with a “billy big bollocks” attitude , no matter who they are .
We have a mentality installed in every corner of our club and everyone needs to follow it -
That would rule out a lot of players, IMO ,who think they are bigger than the clubs they currently represent .
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

Since he announced he was moving on, that was nailed on, if he is staying in Europe that is instead of doing what he said and go back to finish at Independiente
People clutching at straws still hoping he will re-sign for us seems odd, as it was him who told the world he was leaving not a leak or the club.

Yeah seems he is getting a huge pay cut aswell as Barca are in deep financial trouble . Glad for him he will see out the rest of his top flight career with his best mate , Sergio will be idolised in Barcelona and he thoroughly deserves it

Clutching at straws is an inbuilt symptom of following City.

I’m still disappointed he’s spent years saying he’ll go back to Argentina after City, but he’s free to do whatever he wants.

They all do it. David Silva was meant to finish his career at Gran Canaria his boyhood club. They both gave us everything for 10 years and the only way i'd be pissed off is if they'd have gone to an English top team.
Look at Tevez who was "homesick" for Argentina and went all the way to Italy. That's taking the piss.

If they think they've got more to give, and they can't give it at City what's the problem?

Sergio needs to have a small part in the final.
Don't care how we do it.

No sentiment.
He plays a part if it is required.
Otherwise he plays no part.
