I've read that they have been quite underwhelmed by Isaak so far and that he hasn't made much of an impression in their U19's.

Monaco saying nothing less than £100m and hope for £125m next summer (and Mbappe wants Real Madrid).

I like the look of him but £100m for an 18 year old who hasn't yet played 50 games? No chance.

very interesting that Mbappe's price tag has soared recently yet Kasper Dolberg is doing the same thing for Ajax and no one seems to care. sure Dutch league is worse than the French league but it can't be by that much.

Mbappe: 18yo, 18 goals.
Dolberg: 19yo, 20 goals.

could easily get Dolberg from Ajax for less than £30M

Is the Spafia capable of paying 100m for someone we already own? I wouldn't put it past them.

wouldn't be surprised. comes from an awful league and a league that has a different schedule meaning he arrived at Dortmund in January without a preseason and has taken time to get up to speed.

we all know that's not going to happen, the best thing for Angus is to get some first choice experience elsewhere at a decent level.

Is there an English academy prospect ahead of him in that position?

There's a few that are too young at the moment but I would say none ahead of him yet.

It's silly season and the transfer rumours have started about departures and new signings. But, is Sammy Nasri coming back? I wouldn't trust the Spafia to sign anyone, but I would welcome the French lad back.

3 league appearances in 2 seasons (8 appearances in domestic comps) doesnt really count.

To be fair Phips you said 'promote someone from the youth academy' and that's what he's done with Garcia. I agree with what you're trying to say though - not enough youth has been given a chance and when they have it's been in matches they shouldn't have played.

He did and unfortunately I thought he was poor. But he has got time to improve and I hope he does so.
