Good. They valued Raphinha at £50m but not Bern. Shows what a terrible club it is. Didn’t want £50m in 1p instalments over 40 years anyway.

It's just a release clause, they don't have to trigger it. They can ask us if we'll accept £30million or whatever. I expect we will bend over for them. Have they got anyone they could part-ex?

I think the point of him signing the extension last summer with the release clause was that both City and Bern agreed that £50m was a decent price for City to get after all these years and £50m for Bernardo is a snip for the buying club.

I’d be surprised if City decided they’d take less in the summer.

Neither are good enough as a replacement for Bernie never mind KDB. Thats the calibre of player(s) we will be looking at. If Brazil want to build a team around those two I wish them every success
