But if i read your last reply , it would suggest you are contradicting yourself. 90 appearances and should be given time to settle in because he ( de Gea ) is 21. and Bravo , at 33 should also be given time ? how much time should that be ? he will be dead before he comes good at City.

There's no contradiction. I'm saying age shouldn't even come into it.

And as such I'm wondering why De Gea was given time to settle and adapt and why Bravo shouldn't be afforded the same.

Bravo actually had a good game yesterday, was out very sharp off his line on a few occasions to snuff out through balls that our emmental defence let through. Some of his long kicking left a bit to be desired but aside from that he was decent. It's just a shame the ref didn't do his job properly or he'd have his third clean sheet in 5 games.

Not in goal no...not one goalie should be given time to fuckign settle in a new league.......its not like an outfield player having to adapt to the speed of the game or a continental style of play......its a fuckign goal keeper.

He's living in a new country under a lot of pressure replacing a fan favourite in Joe. The style of play from opponents is also different mate. More physical and yes he is ratjer smallosh.

I also wonder how well Bravo speaks English. Isn't communication an important part of keeping? I wonder if sometimes this is why Stones sits over Nico. Kolarov speaks Italian I gather so maybe they can more closely communicate.

In the end it may be confidence and he started rough against Utd. He has had some good games but I do agree not been up to his own standard. When a player with his track record and skill set goes through a bad patch of form, and hasn't really given away too many goals without the help of crap defending, I would not push the panic button just yet.

I would love to see Joe getting closed down trying to play Peps system. Would soon see how many love the guy then.

Bravos not covered himself in glory don't get me wrong, but he's been nowhere near as bad as he's being made out by some

What I've seen is a keeper struggling for form, there have been a number of goals conceded where he may have done better, you'd expect a top keeper to be saving some of them but he has been nowhere near as bad as some are making out. Objectively speaking this guy is simply terrible. When has he saved anything? Absolutely ficking useless at keeping goal. Sure some people like to show support and back our goalkeeper or whatever but let's face it, he is beyond terrible.

Rather have raheem in goal.

I booed Barton when he played for us after his long string of misdemeanours. That ended up being the best game he ever played for us versus Newcastle.

Everyone can see Bravo is never gonna jump catch and punch with authority. At the moment he doesn't look like he'll make a save either but I expect he can do or he would be truly hopeless. The real problem is that for no good reason we have given even hopeless teams a way of getting at us and having a good chance of scoring by lobbing it up and getting after the goalie. For what fucking purpose? because v Burnley he fuckin hoofed everything anyway. Pep has built a rod for his own back as he has playing Kolarov ahead of Stones. It just seems so ridiculous that a clearly intelligent man should behave in this manner. He'll probably sign Balotelli next.

That's what baffles me. Pep is clever guy unlike some jokers we've had in the past. Why is he doing this? Man of his talent and intelligence surely can see how terrible Bravo and Kolarov are.

Admirable sentiments Prez, exhibiting a creditable degree of objectivity.

However, at this stage of the season with the unfortunate experiences we've had/endured with Bravo, I fear you might now be in a very small minority with this viewpoint.

Still, it's noteworthy to hold the principle of never following a multitude into folly.
