Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

He's just signed for the Swedish team Göteborgs IF. Whatever potential he had I think it can safely be said it won't be realized in this life. Perhaps next one though, the one where we're all cats.

Really liked the look of Razak, surprised his career tailed off so spectacularly. Think Mase is thinking of Abdisalam Ibrahim? Last I heard he was at Twente, but that was a few years back.

There's been so many that looked so close. Weiss was another one. The two fullbacks we lost mee and trippier just to name a few. It's a real shame when they drop off the earth seemingly. Some make it at a decent level but some are gone from memory before you know it.
Tracking back is overrated.

Rusnak just signed for Salt Lake City in the MLS. Not quite sure if Groningen sold him or if he was let go.

The never-ending lunacy of City fans who think any kid in our academy is good enough to play for a title challenging, CL semi final team.
Are they decent? Yes
Are they good enough to replace Silva, Yaya or Aguero? Move on

We will hopefully get one every now and then.

They don't have to be better than Yaya or Kun. Just as long as they're no worse than the likes of Sinclair, Rodwell, Fernando, Kolarov, Nastasic or any other dross we've spanked millions on over the years.

That's my stance on it as well. They don't need to be first 11 as long as they are first 25. Someone like Garcia for example from what little I've seen of him should be good enough to get into cup games, easier home matches and a subs appearance here or there. Iheanacho same deal and possibly Diaz although Doug/twosips would have a much better handle on that than me.
It's not like our depth is so amazing that space couldn't be made for these sorts of players.

Yes. I don't really seem what's so hard to comprehend about this John, this is what must of us think. In fact, where are these posters that, as soon as a decent prospect from the academy gets some attention, claim they are better than Silva?

Another journey has to be the one of Alex Nimely
Alex Nimely played at ACS Recas, a team that plays under the name of Timisoara, our ex opponent, then, in the summer, he moved to FC Viitorul, the team owned and trained by Gheorghe Hagi. He came as a striker and played as a center back and did somewhat a semi good job.
Sign him up, Spafia.

According to his Wiki he's back in Norway after a stint in Greece. Didn't know he was born in Somalia, there can't be many football players from there.

Seems flexible. Might be the long term solution for our goalkeeper position.
