Seems Guariola and Aguero were out last night for a chat, along with Aguero's agent. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/footba ... z4WIRvZwQP

really really hope we dont attempt to sign messi. yes, he'd instantly improve our success on the pitch and our stature off of it. but it would feel like cheating. like pushing the easy button instead of trying to fix our problems from the inside and build something new.

Word.

(but it would make us a pleasure to watch)

Unless he has a Stella end to the season I think he's on his way myself. It's not just under Pep, he looked out of sorts for the last few months of last season as well.

He is a City legend and his title winning goal elevated us around the world. Iheanacho's story emphasises this. But, he isn't the player he once was and for me he has lost a little of his mojo for whatever reason. Getting kicked all over the park every week can't help though.

That said, unless we have a suitable replacement lined up, (and there aren't many of those), then we will keep him. He is still a class act

I'm with Sideshow Bob on this.
Would have loved him a few years ago but let's stop buying anyone over 30.

Can't ever see it happening.

I don't think Zuricity was ever serious; he was just revelling in the niceties of a clever pun

It will never happen.

For footballing reasons as much as anything. His work rate is poor and he himself would look at what happens to Aguero and Silva every week and not fancy it. His age goes against him as well. Sounds daft doesn't it when you turn your nose up at the worlds best player over the last decade.

But, how fantastic would it be to sign the worlds best player? Like when we got Robinho only miles better. How excited were we at the possibility of getting Kaka? It would blow the minds of the media and the footballing fraternity.

Maybe we have him in our ranks now.
Just jump forward 2 or 3 years.

It's a very good point.

Aguero and silva get kicked off the park every week with little or no protection, so you'd wonder what top player has taken this into account.

Or indeed how much the media's portrayal of the club has them second guessing...

It would feel like Guardiola is a bang average manager whose only hope of success is by buying the best players ...and two fingers to out academy.

It's a thought that has been simmering in my mind everytime people talk of giving him another transfer window to clear the squad out and buy a load of "pep" players.

Personally have a very strong feeling we will find our own version of Messi. Be it from within the academy or perhaps some buy like Jesus.

Is that his agent?

Why would they have 'clear the air' talks in the City centre; what do they have to clear the air for?

Were the pap's following them to get that superb picture or was this story set around the background of a Rag taking a pic on his/her phone; celebrity struck, and all that?

And where's Pep's agent, why is Probably on his own? No Txiki?

What everybody has missed though, is that Messi is in there sat next to Pep. They just forgot his baby seat ;-)
