Well done to him, long may he continue to improve.

it's good fun doing the research though :D

Sterling was great last season as well - didn’t he get in the team of the champions league?
He just got stick for the sake of it.

This season he’s been class. Better than Sanè in my opinion.

Last season he was directly involved in something like 30 odd goals and he was getting stick.

This season, it's close between sane and sterling imo.

And long may that continue. With the two of them and Jesus, we have an amazing future to look forward to.

Imagine them at 27 or so if they keep improving the way they have over the last year??

Wow

I think people forget how young some of our players actually are - especially Sterling as he’s been around the Prem for a while now.

I focus on the 1%...you are either 100% or you're in for a thrashing.

Even the 100% ones need a thrashing from me in the matchday thread. Keep them on their toes!

Sané is 2 years younger than Sterling, so cut him some slack, just to be consistent.

Honestly, not a problem with his idea of moving on in future. I love the boy but that quote at the end about not wanting to be near his mates says a lot to me, that he wants to experience a proper football career and achieve the best he can. I have a lot of time for that. It'd be shit to lose him but to see a young English lad display that sort of ambition, to go abroad when so many would and have only ever stayed in their back yard is refreshing.

He'll give his all to us til the day he leaves so fair fucks raz lad.

Agreed. Plus he is probably talking about ten years from now anyway.

I've no problem if players see it as a career rather than having a fan's passion - so long as they put a shift in (and score match-winning late goals while improving themselves season by season). They can't all be expected to love the club like we do, just so long as they respect it.
