Oh fuck off, this is not about opinions.

It's fact.

If a shot hits the inside of the post or underside of the bar it's the hardest shot for a keeper to save, if you want to be a complete fucking pedant about it.
Does that not mean it's a BETTER shot than being closer to where the keeper can block??
Come on, trying to point out that nearly missing is an issue is spastic.

We've another cunt telling us that tap ins don't really count. In the same thread.

I really hope you can understand my slight dismay on reflection...

The tap ins we score are super goals and that includes the goal scorer.
To me it means we have cut the opps defence to shreads and the goal scorer has the smarts to be in the right place at the right time.
Super play.

Exactly. They're the type of goals you'd be lucky to see in a 5 a side game, never mind at the top level.

Football fans know.

Garth Crooks alluded to this at the weekend. He said it was like watching a five a side but played as a proper game at the highest level, the like of which he had never seen before.

A lad at work who follows Leicester, went on Saturday and he said we were the best side he had ever seen by some way

I always aimed at the inside of the post. If that's where it struck I considered it perfection

It is pretty special to hear that.

Piccs - my thoughts exactly. The closer you are to the woodwork, the harder it is likely to be for the goalkeeper.

It's weird how anyone could look at it as being "close to missing
And even weirder to call it an "opinion"

Nothing more beautiful than our team goals. The first against Leicester was stunning.

Those tap ins into an empty goal from 6 yards or less are the most beautiful of goals because they are the sign of a team that is playing with every member in tune with their teammates and more importantly the manager's tactics. That is pure footballing majesty and anyone who thinks otherwise can fuck off

Sterling's improvement from last season has been amazing. Fair play to Pep and to the lad himself. I'm so pleased as I really hoped he would succeed and piss the dippers off. I for one didn't see this coming at all, but he proved me and many others wrong. He's up there with the best.

No fucking way
Do you honestly think sanchez was near as good as sterling at 21 or 22???

Regardless of the answer, that's not the question to ask though is it? It's about what is the best deal for MCFC, and I personally think Sterling is shite, and Sanchez is way better.
I have a feeling Sterling is going to divide City fans almost similar to what Hughes did.

a memorable conversation and where's that 20K man btw

The first few games this season he made a lot of mistakes. Maybe it was he was a bit rusty, but the critisism of him was as just then as is the praise of him now is correct and just.
Well done to him, long may he continue to improve.

Brighton - he came on as a late sub.
Everton - was immense, almost single-handedly got us back into the game and scored the equaliser.
Bournemouth - scored the winner.
Liverpool - missed through suspension.
Watford - won and scored a penalty in a 6-0 win.
Palace - scored 2 in a 5-0 win.

Terrible start to the season. He really should have done better.
