Looking at the current position of this poll, Caballero has now accumulated more votes (9) than Sane (7).

Most interesting indeed.

That tackle on Ibe was outstanding, they score there and it's a very different game.

Sané was very good but, a constant threat but he was also guilty of giving away possession quite often, it's the nature of his game I suppose but I don't think he was at his very best last night, what I do find interesting is there seems to be more of a tolerance with Sané misplacing a pass, not finishing or not providing a good final ball than there is with Sterling.

I just thought the 'voting' for Caballero was/is quite gratifying in a way.

In the past, he's had his critics and he's been compared, to some extent in an unfavourable light, with Joe Hart but, as our No. 2 'keeper, whenever he's had to play, he's given of his best and generally produced some decent performances.

Granted, he's not necessarily the greatest 'keeper in the world but, with his current run in the side, he seems to be growing in confidence and assurance and, at the moment, he's a vital part of our mini-revival and his worth and value to the team seems to be now more greatly appreciated, which is what I find to be gratifying.

As I said above, he may not be the greatest 'keeper in the world but if, in this next transfer window, because of any budget limitations we concentrated on signing the necessary outfield players we so badly need and we retained Caballero as our No.1, then I wouldn't be too unhappy to let him continue until such time as we did get, from whatever source, a 'better' 'keeper.

In the meantime Willy, keep on keeping on.

Seems appropriate on Valentines Day that Willy is getting loads of attention and compliments.

Absolutely.

Even if Silva didn't play for us and, instead, turned out for the Dippers, or even the Scum   , as a football fan you'd have to hold your hands up and admit what a wonderful, silky, skillful player he was.

Pure class.

Silva maestro. Such a joy to observe. Never take for granted how lucky we are to see him play for us. City legend.

But, mom has to go to Raheem. Goal and assist, nuff said. Great to see him prosper, as

Lots of honourable mentions, especially our young lads, Sane, Stones. Long may big Willy continue playing.

We've a nice young cohort to form the core of a scary good team for the future.

If Silva played for the Rags he would end up in the England squad somehow!

If that were the case, single-handedly he would make England watchable again.

I didn't say he'd get in the team......there is no way he could replace Wiggy or Carrick, or Henderson or Dilly Dally or Dier :D

Maybe because Willy is a gol-keeper and his two fantastic saves changed the exit of yesterday game, for me!

If the back four have a clean sheet bonus in their contracts they'll be buying Big Willy a drink, that's for sure - he had a big hand in our win.
