Silva and Sane. Could easily have gone for Kun, Sterling or Zabba

Sane and Big Willy. Our keeper gave us the inspiration that we needed.

Special mention to Sagna, by the way. We would be in a heck of a lot worse state this season without him.

Sterling ran his balls off.

I would have liked to vote for Pep to put in a goalkeeper that actually makes game savers.

But easily a vote for Willy.

And Serge. Got lucky as their keeper went all Bravo for a moment but what a finish that was for the second. Assisted one too and showed good fighting spirit in the 2nd half

Edit: felt bad for our wingers to leave them out!

Same and Willy, not necessarily the best all game, but decisive moments.

Sorry Sergio you deserved one too !

Aguero for me just past sane and Sterling. All 3 did their part, aguero not as sharp running at them as the other two, but two goals and an assist can't be argued. Was quite surprised he laid that ball off too.

I picked Sane and Sterling - they caused so many problems for Monaco. Sane is really turning into a great player and Sterling's excellent season continues!

Silva was excellent too and great to see Aguero back on the scoresheet.

A mention for Willy too - his second half performance was excellent and he grew in confidence after the penalty save. His save at the end with his feet could prove crucial.

Went for Raheem, as he ran his bollocks off, kept driving forward, but, more importantly drove the team on. Leroy, a very close second, what a player this boy is going to become. Mentions, to Serg, Merlin, Sagna, Zab's & lastly big Willy, for regaining his composure and keeping us in the game, not once, but twice.

Some fantastic performances but I'm voting for Ginger Kevin he worked so hard for us tonight. Tracking back winning balls, stuff many players don't do enough of.

After a game like that, with all its 'ups and downs', controversy and excitement, it just seems a bit too soon to cast any votes just yet.

I think I'm going to have to come down to earth first and then have a ponder.

Sterling for me. Consistently playing so well and a real threat. Just wish he didn't go down quite so easily.

Did someone really mention Zaba for MotM. Hilarious.

Great to see Kun get that slice of luck as he actually wasn't playing that great up till then. Really got going though and worked ever so hard for the team and then a superb striker's goal followed by a great assist.

Willy did indeed give us 2 moments of real inspiration. Not sure what would have happened at 3.1 if the pen went in!

I really like Sagna but at his best he stops 2 of the goals. Definitely should have read the cross for the first and been inside Falcao, there was nobody behind him! And although JS cocked up Sagna had run nack well but seemed to hesitate just enough to not be there and help him out.

Just seen an interesting statistic about Sterling.

In his last nine Champions League starts, he's scored five goals and produced five assists as well.

Not bad at all.

Silva......classy as fuck and the strongest little bloke I've ever seen play footie. Razzer played as well as I've seen him. He seemed to believe and was proper determined.
