We wanted this. Well played to Huddersfield, they have other battles to fight but at least they played a decent game without a full force.

The last game, playing a second team, may have done us a favour by getting the replay and allowing us to see the next round of games. Seeing Boro come out must've been a bit of a bonus, knowing that they will be looking elsewhere.

Great game, lots of goals; who can complain.

Oh, and Sterling, what a fucking player. He's surpassed his Dipper days, by and far.

If he was running a marathon he'd have it the wall around the 10 mile mark, laughable motm decision.

Bit of a joke dragging Sterling and Aguero out as if they are handing over the MotM champagne, only to say 'Cheers Boys'. No wonder Aguero is talking in his own language, you can see that they both know the score!

His commentary on the Beeb is far better than on BT. With BT he has to try and push their narrative whereas with the Beeb he can be more natural.

Or maybe if we keep scoring more than he let's in, he might settle down and get his confidence back.

He's too small anyway. Give Gunn second spot and go looking for s new keeper.

Bbc website gave mom to Sergio. Even they must be embarrassed by Danny Murphy.

Man of the match - Sergio Aguero (Manchester City)

Sergio Aguero
Aguero took his tally to 22 goals for Manchester City this season

Aguero's future has been subject to much speculation after he was dropped by Guardiola last month, with leading European clubs said to be expected to bid for the Argentina international this summer.

Here he showed the City boss exactly what he can offer: movement, energy, tenacity - and goals. Guardiola was suitably impressed, praising the striker's performance as "the best I've seen from him".
