After that commentary I'm amazed you are here to even post. Some good performances though and it was more about playing the ball than scoring.

Also, I thought the ref did well, but not adding him ;-)

Went for Kolarov for a change this week as I thought he was solid throughout.

Kolarov was solid, as was gael

But silva is golden

Easy peasy lemon squeezy. Silva

Defence did well and the two wingers are flying at the moment. All in all a very satisfactory afternoon

Silva was excellent. As were many of them. Even Clichy played well.

Voting for sterling he is unrecognisable from the player who finished last season.
He was a constant threat and worked his socks off.

I am really trying to remember a time when Silva was mediocre, but nothing comes to mind.

What a player. I don't know how we will be able to replace him when he retires.

Silva for me.

I thought both Sterling and Sane were a little bit off the boil in the first half with plenty of poor touches and passes. Still, they contribute so much to our play.

Kun was ok today, but not as good as Saturday. Yaya was good and Fern too.

Back four did fine. Funny how we look more assured with Kolarov in there instead of Otter.

Big love for Big Willy. Probably my second choice behind Silva today. No spectacular saves, but it's so nice to have a keeper who just does what he should.

Willy s really doing the job now and I think he is part of the defence looking solid.

It was a close call but went with Big Dave. As mentioned though, I thought he was impressive.

Fuck me, what a bonus. I fly away on Friday so they've brought our game against Stoke forward to Wednesday.

Lucky or just fate ;-)

Had to be Merlin as he just orchestrates. Big up For Fern1, thought he had an outstanding second half as I personally feel he's been below par since his ban.

Alex played well too, JS seemed much more calm and assured next to him

Fabulous second half, loved the passing and just wearing the black cats down as they were chasing shadows. Well done Pep

Didn't see the game and know very little of it, apart from reading the threads on here, so I can't vote. However, it's nice to see Merlin the Magician getting so many votes (again) as our stand out performer.

As I mentioned on the other thread about the best City player ever, he's the greatest player I've seen in a Blue shirt.

Absolutely irreplaceable.

I've gone for Willy. I know, not the best player for us on the pitch today, but as each match is played I am a little more confident that he can deal with a lot of the shots on target. Makes me less frantic when the opposition attack. I'm sure the defence are more confident as well making less mistakes

Don't disagree with the Silva comments. Gave it to Yaya. Really good today and worked hard too.
