He did say that. I thought it seemed a bit cold but it was off the cuff. Truth is....it's true. Two years left so he can't just be moved on. I hope he stays forever. I'm proud he's our captain.

I think Pep not only doesn't have any "attachment to our club legends​" he doesn't seem to have any emotional attachment to the club at all yet, he would prefer to bring in his own men. I get the impression from things Pep has said like "...he has a contract" he would like to get VK, and others, off the wage bill. Pep wants to create his own history with the club. Yep, absolutely bonkers, we've not had a settled defence for 4 years now because of his injuries. We can't go into another season relying on him.
