Something has to have happened when the camera pans away as there's no surrounding him. no shouting and screaming, no pushing and shoving, no wild gesticulation, I mean there's hardly even aggressive walking. There looked to be more pleading through calm conversation than outrage so something else must have happened that the cameras didn't show us.

Did someone say the footage of the game has been edited to suit us?

That's disgusting.

Sky were showing the real evidence on a loop if anyone wants to see the entertaining spectacle where "the real winner was football".

I'm sure city carried on like animals.
Because we have a recent history of it. Just look at where we are in the fair play table.

Anyone know why Middlesbrough and United weren't charged for failing to control their players in these two incidents?

But ours was a far, far more serious incident and, incidentally, quite right that the captain should be booked for seeking clarification on the referee's decision. Obviously.

Maybe Merlin called Oliver an arsehole?

What would be the outcome if Guardiola, or Kaldoon, legged it onto the pitch to try and control his players in such a scenario? Is such a thing allowed?

An FA charge I think!

I thought it was the job of the captain to control the players. Got bugger all else to do except to lead the team out and be the tosser at the start of the game.
