Moyes slapping

It's being reported that Moyes language i.e. "might get a slap" was sexist. My radar is obviously off cos i have always considered the threat to be gender neutral.

What's wrong with giving Moyes a slap .I bet most on here would enjoy giving him one.

I can think of at least four refs i'd willingly give a slap to , to wake them up.

I see Lineker has waded in on twitter using the incident as an example of 'well paid managers' being 'disdainful' of reporters. Poor lambs, they deserve so much more respect for their principled ways, remember our beloved MOTD presenter whining that Pep had been a bit testy with one of their number earlier this season.

He mentioned "woman" so all the PC crowd jumped on board.

I read this article recently: Sexual harassment? We used to call that 'welcome attention' from men, says Fay Weldon

Not that a slap would be 'welcome attention' but PC people nowadays are suffering from a serious lack of humour. Even 25 years ago there were few graduate women I'd have anything to do with as they were so up themselves. There's also a tale there but I won't bore you with it, as ...er, the bishop ...er, said to the actress.

I am really curious if they get offended when Maureen is acting the way he is at every single post-game interview.

Calling for Moyes' head is obviously ridiculous, but it's shit banter, isn't it. I think it's right to call him out for it, but no need to go overboard.

However, if I were the Sunderland chairman, I would milk this faux outrage to get rid of the hopeless cunt asap.

I come back on here and find it's all gone tits up and good hearted City fans are actually defending Moyes, an ex rag. I could expect it from the lovely soft hearted Rural, who sees no bad in anyone, or from my old mucker Gillie, who only yesterday admitted his sanity had been impaired, but for fuck's sake, this is Gollum we're debating.

Only a joke! he was laughing! it was light hearted banter!.....Go wobble your heads....When has anyone ever seen Gollum even crack a smile? He was miserable at Preston, miserable at Everton, fukking near suicidal at the rags and his jolly jaunt on the continent wasn't exactly a barrel of laughs. Have any of you ever seen Moyes as much as smile? and now you fukkin idiots are trying to convince people he was actually laughing and joking.

As he's never been known to crack a smile previously, has anyone considered DRUGS
He should be given blood tests and investigated to identify what sort of happy pills he's been ingesting,
As suggested, he should be allowed to finish his job of destroying Sunderland and suffering the ignominity of relegation.
Then, he should be sentenced to 5yrs as Scotland manager.
That'd sort the bastard out.
I KNOW THAT YOU BELIEVE THAT YOU UNDERSTOOD WHAT YOU THINK I WROTE, BUT I AM NOT SURE YOU REALISE THAT WHAT YOU READ IS NOT WHAT I MEANT

Just seen this reported.

I thought what he said was gender neutral tbh. The fact he offered to give her a slap, shows that Moyes was not discriminating between sexes.

Playing Devil advocate, would the press have gotten their collective knickers in a twist ;) ;) had the reporter on the receiving end of the banter been a Male?.I suspect not.

Then it is they that are the sexist bastards.

He probably thought is was ok to say because that's what most men in Sunderland do to their wives on a Saturday night
