If we win or draw the derby we're getting a top four finish.

Bellerin has looked shit recently. He has pace yes, but has been exposed by players like Townsend. Is he the answer? Might be better than our current crop, but he is not the answer IMO.

if the derby was our next and last point we would certainly finish outside the top 4 if the others won their games and drew in head to heads. We might actually finish 8th - despite your advanced Swedish mathematics.

indeed or 9th (with a dramatic turnaround in goal difference) quite correct - did I say otherwise?

If the derby was our last 'point' then we would be on 62 and Southampton can manage 64, goal difference would be irrelevant

Regardless, even if you meant beating the rags, if we lost 6 on the spin and Southampton won 8 on the spin, I expect the 25 goal difference wouldn't be that dramatic as there would be a 14 goal swing even if every game only ended 1.0

Sorry, it's a quiet day for me, nothing better to do :0)

i have no idea what you're talking about. We will probably finish in the top four even if we don't win or draw the derby.

Edit

Got it sorry missed the joke. But you know what I mean. ;-)

Me too, well a quiet start :)
I was looking at West Brom, they could also manage 62. Currently on 44 with 6 left to play but even with a -2 goal difference if it all went jam side down we could end up below them as well as Southampton!
