If they put pressure on, but not doing it with big numbers, then there's no advantage for me. At least when you bring enough of them on it opens space in the middle and back but to put yourself under constant pressure without a real outlet then you're just asking for trouble. Chelsea have got their formation sussed and playing in a manner that leaves us no put when needed, putting pressure on us from the first touch.

Guardiola is watching...

Can he take a leaf from our current tactics?

Exactly, it's a valid tactic in the right circumstances, but we seem to be doing it just to try and prove a point.

Not as bad as you would imagine.

There's been some blinding goals, but all in all we've been passing, and they've been direct.

Old, old story.

Slow, lack direction and out classed. Simply not good enough in all honesty.

It very much reminds me of this season for the first team, all rolled into one game.

To be fare, Chelsea are very much the best youth set-up around and any team going up against them have to beat the best. It's all about experience for the lads but it would be nice if the experience was a little closer. We've lost put on the tactics for me, they've just had a better set-up, countering everything we've tried to do.

5-1.
I still don't think we have produced any defender through the academy that will make it.
We just don't have a defensive instinct anywhere in the club as far as I can see.

Chelsea are still miles ahead. Admittedly I've only seen 30 minutes of the second half but we haven't closed the gap at all.

We are not an organized team. Chelsea always are and have skill and strength also.
