Irrespective of the scoreline tonight, I think this is the perfect tonic to wash away the depression carried over from last Sunday's travesty. Hope our lads can play some nice, silky football and cheer everyone up.

Have to go to a school meeting tonight. Hoping to get back for second half.

Got it on and routing for the lads. What a week to get back, although not a great start on Sunday but 4 games to watch ain't that bad.

Pity they couldn't have Frank Lampard as Jacqui Oatley's talk-to instead of Glenn Oddball, Chelsea player & manager. Lampard may be the other Mr Chelsea but he's spoken well of his time at City and at least he will have happy memories of his payslip.

Looks like the tactics we've adopted rather than the class of player, although the defence have been nowhere close enough.

All of these players look like they could drop straight into the 1st team. And that's not a compliment.

Maybe as well as the ironic cheers for any Bravo save, we should also do it if we ever have a shot. Although the Etihad will probably be even more like a library

We've been constantly pushed off every ball. We look like a team of skillful players but Chelsea are tactically outplaying is, using their strength and formation to close our game out.

If they put pressure on, but not doing it with big numbers, then there's no advantage for me. At least when you bring enough of them on it opens space in the middle and back but to put yourself under constant pressure without a real outlet then you're just asking for trouble. Chelsea have got their formation sussed and playing in a manner that leaves us no put when needed, putting pressure on us from the first touch.
