The goal was offside.

Here's something to note. Atkinson had a good game, he let the ball run and didn't blow up unless absolutely necessary. Even when big brush lost control, Atkinson got his card out and sorted it. Never lost control. All in all, he let the game play out as it should. Wasn't a yellow card until fellaini in the 85th minute. A toughly fought Manchester derby and hardly a foul or card.

Then you look back to Sunday when 5 of our lads got booked. And every other game before, fouls for nothing, yellow cards for nothing. But the big game on TV tonight, shown around the world, was allowed to flow naturally and the ref just kept total control.

Why is a ref like tonight so fucking rare?

Anyway. A draw will do but I'm getting a bit fed up with the ball being played in a horse shoe shape around the box without any fucker playing it in or looking for a cheeky run and through ball. United were not that good defensively, we just didn't see the exploitable spaces.

We had enough chances to win that, but too many headless shots blazed over. I'm looking at you kun.

Main thing is Vinny is back and looking imperious. Long may it continue.

Onwards and upwards chaps. Consolidate top 4, then we go for it properly next year.

Better than I expected.
Really thought we would be raped by the officials, but in fairness they just called it as they saw it.
Whoever it was that called it, that the screwing over we got on Sunday might be in our favour, called it right.
I think in such a high profile match they didn't dare fuck us over again.

An awful shame we didn't capitalize.
Jesus is what we are missing. The tempo just seems to increase everywhere on the pitch when he comes on.
He causes havoc in the opposition's defence because of his movement.

5 minutes just wasn't enough.
Profligacy in front of goal again has cost us, but I'm not to disappointed with the draw.
Vinny has made some difference also.
The defence weren't troubled but he does add a certain calmness.

C'est la vie.

Oh and United have to be the worst team in the league to watch. Anti-Football.

They were worse.

Should have battered them. I have to question why we cannot score (enough) goals under pep.

I don't, pep is clueless , he has trained this team to keep the ball and that is it. On sunday Sane was in front of the Arse goal - 5 metres away and we managed to keep possession and waltz the ball back to our own half - garbage football when all that was needed was a toe poke in front of goal.

I'd rather be starting from our position to try and sort out the lack of goals, rather than theirs and completely bottle any challenge, blindly hoping the other team make a mistake.

What a bus parking episode that was.

The biggest bus parked at the etihad all season.

Ans I thought I heard it mentioned it's the biggest gap in possession seen since opta starting recording it?

Doesn't win you football matches on its own but sure as shit tells you that one team lacked quality and absolutely lacked the will to want to win the game.

Rags were shocking, and I mean truly shocking, they didn’t even try, just parked the Bus. Appalling when they needed 3 points. If I was a RAG fan I would be unhappy with such a negative performance

We had another 20 shots = 0 goals. Pep will be happy, we must have won the possession by 80% if not 85%.Story of our season.

Taking the positives out the game, we didn’t lose to Rags only real chance, Bravo assist to the Rags didn’t result in a Goal. And it looks like we won’t see the clumsy useless twat for the rest of the season.

Would be nice to occasionally see a Sub before 80 minutes.

Was a shit Derby though,We could have played until midnight with 99% possesion and not scored.

It's a poison combination though isn't it. They've always wanked over the rags, and I'm sure you all remember the odious one's masterclasses, which they always found stimulating.
With the two together they must get quite overcome.
