Just seen that mine is up from £750 to £770. On average about 2.5%. It's being run like a racket rather than a football club. Price freezes at every other club and we feel the need to turn the screws on our fanbase. Wankers.

Renewed mine this morning and got my lad a tram pass as well. We are still good value for prices in comparison to other top clubs in the league.
My lad is 20 soon and his tram pass is £50 for the season. Cost of a return ticket on match day is £4.40 from where we live. So it's a bargain. Avg around 25 home games a season including cups, so it's virtually half price.

How much is expected to be generated by these increased for the club overall? With the TV deal is it really necessary to get and extra £1m off season ticket holders, and I would be surprised if it even comes to this figure. Yes its a business, we have to balance books and make a profit. Hopefully the increase isn't enough to be a deciding factor if people are going to renew or not, mine is up £10 or 52p a match over 19 premier league games so not going to stop me renewing. Im sure there will be comparisons to what every other club has done with their pricing but for the sake of the additional revenue generated its it worth upping the prices?

Not long ago, City fans were celebrating the fact that they could watch great football at a similar price to those watching the likes of a lump it, thump it Stoke.
Our owners have invested £(fuck knows how much), The deal is still a bargain.
We are Fortnums not fukkin Aldi and the caviar has just gone up tuppence.

I must be in the minority to think it's poor decision. We have a capacity of 55000. Let's for simplicity say we have 50000 home fans. Let's then say we have 25 home games. That's 1.25m fans per seaon. Let's then say we knock of a tenner per fan. £12.5m for a season, chump change.
Or to put it another way, a Javi Garcia, a Claudio Bravo, a Nolito, a Jesus Navas, or name any other squad player we have accumulated over the years. Most of our income is now derived from commercial activity and TV money. Gate receipts are falling behind in their importance.
I for one would actually advocate dropping season ticket prices by £200. We have what, 40000 season ticket holders? That's £8m a year. Hardly going to make a massive difference to our income. But it would mean a hell of a lot to a large proportion of our match going fans
