should we bring him back?

I've mentioned it before but his height is an issue considering there's always chaos whenever the ball enters our penalty area. He would need to be protected, otherwise we'd just end up with another Given who was good at shot stopping but not so much on crosses and long balls into the penalty area.

Don't know how good he is with his feet though. Which is what matters....

Pity about his old man but there you go.

Good with his feet?

Well good for kicking enormous distances, most goal pre-assists for Leicester last term.

Always bearing in mind that much statistical data in football is meaningless pseudo scientific babble. Goalkeeper passing accuracy rates for example fail to take into account of key variables such as whether they are rollers or launchers or a combination of both depending on team tactics.

Thing is any keeper is capable of booting the ball high to the final third, it's up to his team mates what they do with it. Any keeper could do what Schmeichel does.
Oh and btw, you might want to let the club know that they can do away with their team of statistical analysts seeing as it's just pseudo scientific babble.

Kaspar's pass accuracy this season is currently 52% but crude counting of ball booting is of little value as is much (you will note I said 'much') statto babble. The club contingent of video-analysers no doubt have their uses but, if any had a significant input into the selection of some of the recent duff signings, those individuals definitely need to be sacked. The important sports scientific data comes from biometrics along with careful tactical and player analysis etc - not media fodder from the likes of Squawka and OPTA. The evidence gathered by watching Kasper over many seasons with my own eyes has convinced me has an excellent all round game which I'm confident would improve in terms of his distribution under Pep.

exactly my earlier point, similar crude measures like these make for meaningless rankings

Kaspar? Not a prayer he will be our goalie next season and rightfully so. We need to look forward, not backwards. The future of City is not about a particular player, goalkeeper or otherwise, nor is next season the be all and end all. Joe Hart was the right man for the previous decade, his time had now gone. If we get it right his replacement may well be our lynchpin for the next decade. This needs to be done right.

For what it's worth, Donnarumma at Milan would be my shout

Kaspar plays for Leicester who instruct him to launch everything 70 yds. I don't think pep will want that.

Yeah but the point was that he was going on about in CityTV or some such.

Anyways, he still can't deal with crosses well enough so I don't think he is the answer.

I suppose NQDP, that one favourable aspect of this is that, if it's a straight swap, we'd be getting a 'new' keeper without any financial impact on our transfer budget.

Other than that, good heavens no.
