Highly entertaining 1st half, spite the 0-0 score line.

Lanzini belts it in from 6 yards, Spurs all out of sorts at the back post and WHU didn't fuck it up. 1-0

Bad result for us. We need them still in the game when they are playing filth next fixture.

I would prefer them rather than Chelsea, because of some really quality players and because of what Pocchetino did there. The fans can fuck off. For me Chelsea are a bunch of dirty cunts with a dressing room filled with snakes like Fabregas, Hazard, Costa, Sideshowbob, etc. But between those two, I would go with Spurs.

I'd prefer a lot of teams over Chelsea, us for instance. But Spuds are in this title race as much as we are. If they can't get inspired to perform in the very last game at WHL then they won't be inspired by the slightest of chances at the title.

Pep has fcuked up so often this season , it is shameful. Top manager my arse .

The squad we have should be walking this league .

There really is no excuse for us to be this far off the pace is there.

I feel so flat over footy atm. Worse I've been for a long long time. So disappointed with his pepship.

I agree about Pep. Team selection at Boro for e.g. Picking Bravo etc etc. He's far from a tactical genius.
The squad? Have u seen our back 5 (excluding Vince given he has missed most of the season)? It's worse than West Broms etc. Not good enough....simple as that.

Spuds bottling it again. Closeish couple of times but how long can they keep their stars?

Shit part of today was that now Spurs will bottle it against rags as well. You might as well put your house on it

Didn't see the game, let's just hope that was a blip opposed to them falling apart, the top two is gone, they've got rags last ever game at WHL as it is, we need them to put this game behind them

This must be a huge disappointment for spurs.

Wembley next season then the new stadium. I'd be very surprised if they're able to maintain this quality of football for the next 2-3 seasons. These last two seasons were their chance to get a title and it looks like they won't get another one now for a few years to come. They weren't even able to get a cup which must make it even more painful.

Next season should be the season we expected this year with the Manchester clubs dominating.

Agreed.

We cannot expect to win the league when we're selecting a back 5 from Bravo, Caballero, Stones, Zabaleta, Otamendi, Clichy, Kolarov and Sagna.

We like Caballero because of his heroics in the league cup final and he is much better than Bravo. But let's not pretend he's a top class goalkeeper.

Our defensive options are shambolic. We hope Stones will become the player he's hyped up to be but he's far below the standards a team aiming for trophies should have. Hopefully a regular partner will bring out the best in him. All of the others are not good enough anymore (or never were in Otamendi's case).

However, Pep could have limited the impact by at least playing a regular back 5, allowing them to get used to playing together.

I honestly don't know what Pep see's in training or at matches or if he's just arrogant in the extreme. He seems to have made our best players worse and repeatedly meddles with the line up and selects a GK and back 4 (excluding Vinnie) that are woeful. I'm starting to fear he's just a one trick ticka-tacka merchant and just like Sven when Plan A fails he has no Plan B. Having 70% of the ball is pointless if you can't get it into the net or play with any urgency.

The Prem is not a two team league every single game is hard and hasn't learnt or adapted even though he claims he is "so so so happy" in his post match interviews he seems queasy like he's 6 pints in on cross channel ferry on a rough day and he's desperately trying to convince his mates he's fine and isn't about to puke.

We play like a team of strangers and I sh*t myself every time the keeper plays a 5 yard pass to a panicking defender with no one around him and yet the Spafia are supposed to have been gearing up for his arrival for years? Mancini wanted Hazard so they but him Delph? If Pep misses the CL I think he'll bottle it and quit.

It would be entirely typical city for us to break the supposed best manager in the world.

Must win game today LFTCU

The idea we should walking away with this league with this squad is just laughable.

move to new ground puts Spurs in the big time financially.
therefore they may be able to afford to keep their young squad together and buy quality.
they have an excellent manager who looks like staying.

if the above happens Spurs will be playing for pots every year.

They could also find that their small ground pressing game won't work in the new stadium and could suffer a drop similar to WHU's this season.

Ive always thought Stelling has been particularly malicious towards us. I'm hoping Hartlepool get relegated to obscurity today just to piss the little fecker off. Horrible little turd he is.
