MOTM v Palace

I've made this two selections, as I was sooooo impressed with the Otter, but can't take it away from Merlin.

Can't argue with that and I'm thrilled for Otter for scoring. The difference in him since Vinny has come back is amazing.

But I gave a vote for Willy who only had one thing to do today and he did it and in doing so stopped the game going to 1-1.

Merlin goes without say.
I'd pay the admission fee to watch him alone.

Went for vinny as he again just makes us a different team. Silva same thing, splitting hairs but both carry parts of our game.
Tracking back is overrated.

Must admit I was going to go for the Otter purely for his defensive work, that goal just put the cherry on top.

Sterling for me. The amount of shit he gets from our own fans and bellends in the media make me like him even more. He's just 22 FFS!

I thought Clichy and the Otter had really good games today. But I went for Merlin and Vince.

Went for our incomparable Merlin, who else ?? but also, strangely, for Jesus.

Thought he was determined and worked hard and because the Palace defenders were keeping a collective eye on him because of his pace and ability, it seemed to make a little more room for others to utilise. I also made allowances for it being his first full game (nearly) after a lengthy(ish) lay-off.

With a fit Kompany and Ottamendi beside him we have a defense, both top class again.

Thought that was Clichy best game of season by a distance today. Really good header at back post first half to clear danger.

I never saw Colin bell play - would love someone who has seen both him and silva play to say who was our best ever player.

This comparison cropped up in a recent topic we had about the best City player ever.

The most difficult of difficult choices but I opted for Merlin.
