Le Tissier went for Silva.

Charlie Nicholas, Crackhead and Phl the nose Thompson all went for Fabregas!!! he has hardly played this season if my memory serves me correct!

And they are getting paid for these comments

Fabregas' stats say it's him in terms of assists. No body has more since he's been in England.

That said I think I heard nobody has more than Silva since he's been in England.

Silva for me but coutino fab Ericsson and hazard all stand out for me.

Silva hands down. Yaya's pretty nifty as a deep-lying playmaker as well.

The only won in recent years who has come close to Silva, in my humble opinion, is Carzola, who has one great season for Arsenal. But even then he wasn't as good (+ he's been pretty poor since).

What I like to think of a playmaker is what effect his mere presence has on the game.

Sure, it's a toss-up stats-wise across the league, and I'd also go for Silva because of how immaculately he controls the flow of the game, but think of the psychological effect it has when Vinnie, Yaya, Fern or Aguero, at their best, are on the field - or even Willy and now Gabriel.
But in the clinical sense it's either Silva or Kev.

Fuckregas and Hazard don't count because they wear a crap shade of blue.
