Hah! Chelsea's big money Mr. Irrelevant makes pretty much his only contribution of the season and clinches the title.

Well deserved but too bad it happened already. I wanted Spurs to still be in contention when they play scum.

Not sure anyone could've done better. We may have paid in somewhat for Pep's philosophy but I still believe our squad is not good enough to win the title. Fullbacks have needed replacing for two years now and I truly believe that our wasteful $$$ nature when it comes to centrehalves is directly related to having shitty fullbacks who fail to cover their ground.

I don't think he would have won the league a easily. The balance of our squad is wrong for his kind of football. Kompany being back if course helps, but without him he'd have struggled as well.

We'll done to Chelsea. The old adage is the table doesn't lie and after nearly a full season they have actually won it quite easily. We simply have not been good enough either on the pitch or on the touchline and on the training field. There are reasons for our lack of a decent title challenge and I just hope we iron out a few kinks over the summer to give it a better go next year.

But it's Chelsea's year and their title and they could still do the double. Kind of hope Arsenal win the cup now just so they don't do the double.

would we have signed kante or was he a director of football signing?

i laughed when he signed luiz...

alonso - would we ever sign a player like him

would hart have been binned?

flip side is that maybe we wouldn't have signed sane and jesus...

long term i actually think we are in better shape as it looks like costa and hazard are off and conte could be tempted back to Italy....

Phew, that would take some doing.

Their goal difference is miles better than ours, so we'd have to win our last three games and they would have to lose their last three for us to sneak it by one point.

However, there's always the possibility they could implode so it would be terrific to overhaul them and it would greatly irk the media as well so, here's hoping :D :D :D

Nothing to play for? Seriously? The last ever game at White Hart Lane. They will be bang up for this game. I can see them giving the rags a proper mauling like they have been deserving of the last few months

I think and hope so too. Chelsea will need to start rejuvenating soon too, and if you don't handle it absolutely spot on, you will struggle for a couple of seasons. Just look at scum and Scouse2 and at us to some extent.

I don't normally differ from your thinking NB but in this instance I can only disagree.

I think the inferiority complex that Tottingham have, with regard to the Scum, will rear its ugly head again and they'll just bottle it.

However, if they do lie down and roll over with scarcely a whimper against Mourinho's mob, as I mentioned in an earlier post, it improves our - at the moment - distant theoretical possibility of pinching second spot.
