Thank fuck that's over.
Paul Dickov was totally unimpressed by Madley.
Said he got both penalties right but little else.

We're in third spot now and breathing down Tottingham's necks.........well, not quite as we're still five points behind them, but it's doable and it won't be the first time we've overcome a fair sized points deficit.

In our two remaining games, I hope we perform a little better than we did in the second half today.

Playing really well. We'll never replace him and Silva.

You're right John but, irrespective of what we would like to happen, I'm convinced the Scum will simply stroll past Spurs with, or without, any refereeing assistance so, on that basis, we've got to just think of ourselves and strive to finish in second spot.

We could also do with West Ham beating the nauseating Dippers, because they need to be consigned to the Europa next season, rather than getting delusions of adequacy by somehow finishing in the top four.

The Sky commentator was really willing Leicester to equalise.....he groaned a couple of times when they missed !! The bias against us rolls on

Missed the game, have a few questions:

1) Does the penalty moments has a precedent? Saw that the Leicester players did not protest, including Mahrez.
2) Why did Jesus take the pen?
3) The ball from Silva was going in without Raheem getting involved. Why did they protest? Is not like he changed the whole direction of the ball.

On the penalty it's a clear cut rule. Willy appealed immediately. It looked to me as if the second touch altered the direction of the ball so it might have been saved.

Yaya offered the ball to Jesus for our penalty

Not sure Raheem was even offside at all. He didn't touch it but Schmeichel argued Sterling interfered with his vision. He had no chance of saving it tbf.

1. It is very clearly stated in the rules that a player only is allowed to touch the ball once after a dead ball, i.e. a free kick, at knock-off etc. Mahrez knew it and couldn't protest once he realised that Madley wasn't going to bottle it.

2. Yaya gave it to him. Don't know why.

3. He tried to hit it, which could be interpreted as interfering in the situation. Kaspar also stopped moving towards the ball and raised as soon as Sterling made a move towards it (not that he would have been able to catch it anyway).
