MC Vs Rags - who is top dog next season

Postby Dimples » Sat May 13, 2017 7:39 pm

Are we positioned better that the Rags for next season?
I think we are way ahead of them.

I expect us to sort out our defence, get a mobile box to box midfielder and then we will be good to go.
We will play a fantastic brand of attacking football.

Hard to see where the Rags are headed?
Buy a top top forward. Then shut up shop and play long balls to a couple of speed merchants who feed the clinical forward?
How boring is that?

Just curious to know what people think, if indeed they think about it at all?

On paper we are miles in front in terms of first XI and squad and youth levels. But don't forget the power of the FA and the decision making they can influence. When all is said and done, over the last two campaigns we are only a handful of points ahead of them. And they will have at least one pot on their sideboard. Undeserved it may have been but that counts for shit now.

But yes, we will finish above them in the league and undoubtedly play the far superior football

Yeh, Woodward has done an amazing job, which is why they're currently 6th in the league. You're not a glass half empty kind of guy - you don't even have a glass!

In pretty sure that was a backhanded compliment in regards of Woodward. Just like we appreciated the hard work agent Moyes and van Ghoul put in.
