What the feck happened to Nolito? Who did he piss off? I heard a rumour he wasn't putting a shift in at training but how true that is I'm not sure.

Pep to Txiki: 'get me Nolito'
Txiki: 'Celta Vigo won't want to sell him, they're going to demand a high price. Barcelona are sniffing around him too, we're going to have to give him a decent wedge to convince him to join us over them'
Pep: 'I don't care what it costs, I need him, make it happen
Pep has a falling out with Nolito and wants rid.
Pep: ' we need to offload him Txiki
Txiki: ' we're going to struggle to offload him as his wages are prohibitive to most clubs, we're probably going to have to sell him at cut price '
Pep: ' don't care mate, he's not in my plans, just get rid '
Txiki: 'ok'
City sell Nolito for a nominal fee.
Thick shit Txiki!

Odd one he started so well. I thought we played better as a team with him in it for the first few months.
No idea what went wrong but something didnt work. Pity really.
3.4 m is more than i thought we would get, thought we would have to loan him and pay his wages till his contract eventually ran out...

Weird as fuck.
Nolito disappeared last winter. Imho, he had a great first part of the season. He adapted well, played good. He was the type of dirty cunts you need in your team.
Bizzare situation to say the least, but this happens when our board is formed by spanish idiots.

Real Betis are in talks with Manchester City over signing Spain striker Nolito for a fee of about £3.4m.
Nolito, 30, joined City for £13.8m from Celta Vigo in July

Nolito was the strangest one for some time. Hard worker too.
It's a head scratcher alright and I'm no fan of Txiki, but I don't see how this is his fault at all?

Not Txiki's fault at all. Here, he's just posing with Nolito & the contract because noone else was arsed, he wasn't actually involved or responsible for it at all.

We're gonna lose £10 million on a player that hasn't even had a bad season? If that's the case Pep could do with looking how he treats players. Nacho, Hart, Nolly - we're looking at not getting a lot for these now and the main reason is clubs know Pep doesn't like the players.

I've got a horrible feeling we're going to let Nacho go for under £10 mil, too...

I really can't see them matching Nolito's wages. Not sure this will happen

Terrible piece of business. I'm not going to blame Pep though, he started to look completely inefective after quite promising start. He was depth player to begin with. It's on Txiki that we paid such a ridiculous sum for him.

We had to pay that because it was his release clause and Barca were willing to pay it.

We really don't have to do anything and Barca weren't going to sign him. If they'd wanted him they would've matched the clause.
