You would think someone a number of our fans think is good enough be our primary backup should get his chance on a Championship side.

They still had Ruddy as their no. 1 and McGovern (N. Ireland no. 1) as their backup, but neither seems to have impressed this past season (according to WhoScored).

This is a good chance to prove himself against players we expect him to have a real chance to beat out for a place.

I'd have been more concerned about getting games if he went to a lower level PL side, actually.

City watch reporting that Aleix Garcia and Pablo Maffeo will be joining Girona on loan for next season! At least they are playing in la liga next year, should be a good move for them!

Will be very interested to see how Garcia does. Always been very assured and skilled when he's appeared for us. Hopefully he can get in the 1st team and come back with some great experience.
