Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Staggered at what I just heard on talksport. Some Welsh ex player has just said if we paid £43m for Silva it's an absolute snip! That's encouraging though I doubt he will be allowed on the radio again. Looks like we have signed a doozer!!

Theres a lad who I support who breathes and lives football. He can name EVERY player for every club throughout the leagues domestic and abroad and can tell you bits about them. He said this afternoon that 43 million is a snip and we have one hell of a player on our hands. He even said if we had parted with the 70 million being banded about that we will soon find out his worth!
Welcome to City!
I haven't a fecking clue what I'm doing! Gillie come back man I want my sig back. As the Photobucket thingy gone?

Not sure. I thought it was him at first but sounds just a bit different. He has been balanced in all things discussed which I really like. I'm still listening just to find out who he is. He has said something positive about the scum too but I do like someone trying to be fair.

There was an opening for a Rooney gag there and you just passed over it. Shame.

Sounds a very exciting signing. What is truly frightening is the age of our attack.
Sane, Sterling, Jesus, Silva B all under 23.
KDB at 26 in his prime. Aguero has at least 3 years left at the top of his game. Silva D has the game to have another 3 years at least at the level he is currently at.
And back up players in the wings like Roberts, Sancho, Garcia, Foden.
That's the forward line sorted for the next 5 years.
Sort the defence and we will be awesome. Properly awesome. I cannot wait.

It's Danny Gabbiodan! Played for west ham and palace I think. Always quite balanced about us, his problem is that he supports Liverpool

Just watched his interview on our YouTube channel. I was also struck by how fluent his English is which can only be a good thing. He seems to acknowledge the defensive attributes that Pep wants in an attacking player i.e. working hard off the ball. I can honestly say that I haven't been this excited by a signing since we got Sergio. I was worried that we wouldn't be able to replace David Silva - here we have a player who I genuinely believe can take up the mantle, and something I noticed when we played Monaco at the Etihad. Loving it! And a snip at £43m for a 22 year old who has the world at his feet

popped over to red cafe and loving the "didnt want him", "not that good", "poor man's Mata" bullshit when theres another thread with basically 1 in every 2 posts saying they'd like Woodward to sign Bernardo.
I'm not really a City fan. I'm just here for attention.

Yeah, wasgenuinely surprised to hear him speak Emglish relatively well.
Nice signing and all but WE NEED DEFENDERS AND A GOALKEEPER.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Very impressive interview. Not just good English comprehension, vocab and grammar but good pronunciation as well. I'm guessing he'll be fluent in French also. Clearly a very bright lad, a quick thinker and mature well beyond his years.
So an excellent signing for us and one which will encourage our defence targets to believe that the City project is truly going places.
