Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

With regard to academy and strategy I think that the primary dea is that the academy will feed players into the first team making us mostly self sufficient. Selling under par players should only be a secondary benefit imo.
We need to be patient for players to come through but we also need to give some of these lads a shot and that is driven by the owners who I think are serious about this.

I don't believe things like "he has five years no matter what" exist in top football clubs. Thismis results business and our owners, while very patient people considering the amount of money they put in, will not just give five years to someone. On the flipside, if Pep achieves what he and we expect of him then I don't think he is "job for lufe" kind of guy. He seems like a feller who is always looking for a challenge and once he reaches his targets will move on. Nothing wrong with that mind you. He had as close to perfect football team as you can get playing as close to perfect football as you can get in Barcelona winning everything and walked away from that.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

I reckon about 10m for him given what Begovic just went for and his high salary. Any more than that a bonus. We need to ensure we dont sell Hart to any potential rivals.
derby day the scores were level,
then the goat was fed by neville,
silly boy should know for sure,

THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

Oh the irony.
We've a Pep discussion being hijacked with by song lyrics and MC's post is the only one that isn't a song lyric......well not one I recognise anyway.
I'm getting Elvis, Bob Dylan, Poison, ABBA, The Darkness, but MIkhail you of all people not taking the opportunity to insert a musical insight?
Unless it's something obscure I've missed.

They were some alternative lyrics to part of the song (the big build up ending) 'I Believe', that JC posted.

musical as you.
Now back to Pep.....

Oh, I don't know CTID.
The Off Topic section might be a receptacle for daft and comical posts, just to amuse us and keep us going.
